    Man what a show! The Gourds were the ultimate pros to work with, and drew a packed house. Great entertainment for a wide range in audience age as well as tastes! Book'em, See'em, buy the albums you will not be disappointed!!!

    The Gourds are always a fun band to see live & this evening was no exception. The only drawback was that the Gourds were the openers for a local band which limited their playing time. Gourds put a big dose of ALT in the alt.country movement. Their rendition of Snoop Doggy Dog's Gin & Juice was inspired. The song lingered/segued into Sam Cook & then leapt into the Stones' Miss You. They played songs from all their albums - My Name is Jorge, I ate the Haggis, Pushed her Down, Maria - & the crowd wanted more.
