I saw them in san juan capistrano california on Oct. 24 and it was a great show. Phil Mogg was in rare form and the guitarist Vinnie Moore is a great guitarist who can play th Michael Schenker leads note for note. I was so impressed that I went and flew up to san francisco to see them on Nov 1. Again it did not disapoint. Another great show. I got to meet Vinnie Moore before the show and what a great guy. He talked to my girlfriend on my cell phone at a restraunt that I was at. I am such a ufo fan that my license plate on my car says UFOROKS. Hope to see you ufo fans at the next gig.

I had not seen this great band since the Strangers in the Night tour in 1980 so I was really excited about the show. They played at a local casino in the nightclub/lounge. It sat about 400 people so all the seats were good. The band sounded tight, and were very entertaining. The singer Phil Mogg showed good stage presence, and the guitarist Vinnie Moore was excellent. All in all it was a good show but there were disappointments. I felt that as a classic rock band, the boys owe it to their fans to play their most popular tunes. UFO failed miserably in this area, leaving 3 important songs out of their set list. Doctor, Doctor, Lights Out in London, & Too Hot to Handle are the 3. When I see a band I like from an era of my life that was influential to my developing Rock and Roll taste, it stands to reason that the band should give this experience to their fans when they play a gig. To relive that time in my life through these songs is important to me. It's not like UFO had so many hits that they couldn't fit these 3 banner songs in to the set, and for that reason I will not go see them again.
