This was the first of two Weezer shows I had the honor of seeing in a 5 month period. This was an AMAZING show in a converted airplane hangar near Pearson International Airport in Toronto. I think one of the things I was most impressed with was how cool the crowd was. Everyone seemed to get along perfectly with everyone else and there was the overwhelming feeling of good karma and friendship in the building, it was very odd and even more difficult to explain. I've felt it once before at a Collective Soul concert back home in Sudbury. This was a mini-tour before the big tour for their Green album. The performance was outstanding and left everyone wanting more. I was disappointed that they didn't play 'El Scorcho' even though they teased a bit by playing a few chords of it. The explaination was that the 'song has been going terribly wrong lately' and that they wouldn't even bother to attempt it. Nevertheless the show really hauled, as only Weezer can do.
