Later this month, Dick Clark’s American Music Awards will celebrate 36 years of paying tribute to popular musicians from every genre with some help from a constellation of stars.

Leading the pack at the Nov. 22 awards ceremony are a pair of love-em-or-hate-em acts – Eminem and Lady Gaga. Since both artists are known for always having something different up their sleeve, it should make for an interesting evening.

Also set to perform at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live are Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Lopez, Black Eyed Peas, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Daughtry and Adam Lambert. Additional performers will be announced in the coming weeks.

For the third year, winners will be chosen by fans in online voting at AMA.ABC.com, AMAVote.com, and MyCokeRewards.com.

Fans can also cast votes for T-Mobile Breakthrough Artist Award nominees Lady Gaga, Keri Hilson, Gloriana and Kid Cudi via text message.

Tickets and VIP packages are available for the show, which will be broadcast live on ABC beginning at 8 p.m. EST/PST.
