There’s a good reason Live Nation is calling this week’s Hump Day “Ultimate Access Triple-Play Wednesday.” For 24 hours concert fans can purchase tickets minus service fees, meet up with their favorite bands and be eligible to win free access to shows for an entire year.

For 24 hours beginning Wednesday morning 12:01, Live Nation will offer tickets to its club shows at reduced costs by dropping the service fees. Of course, the promotion company has been doing variations of this theme since last spring, but this time everyone who purchases a ticket will be entered to win the Ultimate Access Pass, giving winners free access to all Live Nation club shows at that venue.
According to Live Nation, each of its participating club venues will have an Ultimate Access Pass winner. Winners will be announced on the company’s website at high noon Thursday (Eastern Daylight Time).
Live Nation is also offering late afternoon meet-and-greets this Wednesday with bands and artists such as Anvil, Between The Buried And Me, Dethklok and Mastodon, Hellogoodbye, Hollywood Undead with Atreyu, Escape The Fate, LMFAO with Shwayze, Taking Back Sunday, Tesla and The Used.
In addition to offering this week’s Ultimate Access Triple Play Wednesday action through its website, Live Nation will also be selling its club tickets sans fees at its nightclub box offices Wednesday afternoon. Like buying the tickets through the website during the 24-hour period, purchases at LN’s nightclubs Wednesday afternoon will enter the buyers in the contest for the one-year passes to the company’s club venues.
