He may not be the ugly-duckling-into-swan the world discovered in Susan Boyle, but self-described “chicken catcher” Kevin Skinner took a lot of people by surprise last night.
Skinner, who elicited chuckles from “America’s Got Talent” judges David Hasselhoff, Sharon Osbourne and Piers Morgan, the audience and host Nick Cannon as he described his job in a thick Southern drawl, had everyone singing a different tune by the time he finished his performance of Garth Brooks’ “If Tomorrow Never Comes.”
