Izzard Visits Mumbai Victim

Comedian Eddie Izzard did his part to spread some cheer and goodwill over the holidays, performing a stand-up routine at a London hospital for a victim of the November terror attacks in Mumbai.

The father of the victim, Will Pike, contacted Izzard following the attacks and asked the comedian if he’d send a note to his injured son. Izzard took the request a step further, delivering his 90-minute message in person.

Pike, who is bedridden, apparently had to miss a recent Izzard performance for which he had tickets.

    Eddie Izzard is a hilarious comedian.

    Last time he was stateside his tickets sold out way to quickly. I'd love to see him live.

    Maybe I just need to get blown up, or shot at.
