Outback Presents Hires Jenny Reid As Ticketing Manager

Outback Presents announced the appointment of Jenny Reid as ticketing manager on Wednesday.

Nashville-based promoter Outback Presents announced the appointment of Jenny Reid as ticketing manager on Wednesday.

Reid joins Outback from Eventbrite, where she worked in client operations as manager of venue success. She worked at Ticketfly prior to Eventbrite’s acquisition of it, and prior to that, she served as ticketing manager at New Orleans-based promoter Huka Entertainment from 2013 to 2016.

“I am excited to get back to my roots on the promoter side of things, and what better place to do it than at longstanding Outback Presents,” Reid said in a statement. “It’s a solid group of people working hard to create a positive experience for the artists and the fans, and I am thrilled to be a part of it.”

Outback president Mike Smardak added that “Jenny is a great addition to our growing team.”

Smardak was nominated for Promoter of the Year at the 2019 International Entertainment Buyers Association (IEBA) Awards earlier this year.

The announcement continues a stretch of personnel changes for Outback, which hired Bonnie Sugarman as community outreach coordinator in November and Benton Wharton as talent buyer earlier this month.
